Combining Colors & Textures
We love re-decorating our coffee table to always keep it looking fresh & new! This coffee table is a bleached teak root topped by a piece of glass. Three of our key aspects when decorating a table: Color, Texture & Height!
When we want to keep it neutral but compelling, we often mix in textures with a neutral color palette. Here we added two of our Anaya cane wrapped boxes, mixed with handmade shell décor from artist, Jamie Dietrich. We included a grass cloth box with an ivory picture frame and a piece of faux coral on an acrylic base to add more texture to the space. To add some height, we have three shells on wooden stands in three different sizes. We love to add height to a table when decorating, this really gives you the ability to showcase every piece - it also balances out the design concept. We added the shell tray in the front to give the space a little shine. On top of the tray, we placed a St. Moritz coffee table book with a silk hardcover. Everyone loves a candle, and here we have one of our favorite White Stone Candles, Agave & Salt. Accompanying this, are two of our candle accessory must-haves: an antique brass candle snuffer & a glass cloche. Our Candlefish cloche captures the scent *while the candle is not lit* for optimum scent experience, it is also the perfect décor piece.
